Discovered this little cafe by accident when we were trying to find other cafe by Google map….. overall there is only two set of food for lunch, they are all vegan. The cold noodle we had is not bad, the rice that came with it was a bit plain in taste wise. They only have standard choices of drinks like ice tea, coffee, juice and soda etc. Service wise is basically you order at the cashier and they will send the food to the table of your choice and you will have to return the used plates to the kitchen counter. They have their own washroom so this is an upside. Their seats are quite comfortable.

Glad we discovered this place. There’s a lovely wooden Montessori style mini cafe which my daughter enjoyed playing in whilst we enjoyed the food, which was unique and tasty. The staff spoke English well.

The food was really tasty and not expensive. The menu is usually vegan. The staff is really friendly and it feels more like a "going to eat with your friends" atmosphere. They also sell pottery and cool hand made stuff. They are not open daily, so better check their Instagram account and PM them if you are not sure. You can walk from Tokoname station or from a nearby parking space. I highly recommend it if you want to have a special meal in a special place!

Such a lovely cafe that we discovered while walking around Tokoname. The interior is cozy and has a warm atmosphere, the food and drinks were delicious (we had the seasonal plate with vegetables of the day) and Chizumi, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She also connected us with local artists for learning Japanese style ceramics. This place is truly like a home away from home. We'll definitely come back. Thank you!

Delightful cafe - a delicious oasis of calm. The owner helped us find a place for dinner afterwards. Highly recommended.

On a Sunday I visited the Tokoname pottery trail and stopped by Imawo Space for lunch. It's tucked down a narrow path accessible only on foot. I stepped down into the small building and after taking my shoes off and putting the room slippers provided on, ordered tantan noodles and sesame iced coffee. I sat at a window looking out onto derelict, overgrown buildings which might seem a strange view to enjoy but fitted in with the old-world charm of Tokoname. The noodles and soup were served chilled, which was perfect for such a hot and sunny day. They were tasty but a little light on veg. Brown rice was served as a side dish. The chilled sesame coffee was a unique flavour and hard to describe but was quite nice. It's really nice to be able to have vegan food in a quiet area, outside of the city.
